Brett Backues CPA, MBA
Owner, MyCFOLink
For eight years, Brett was at the helm of Backues & Co., taking care of clients with the kind of professionalism, skill and dedication that has earned him industry-wide respect and many repeat clients. With the name change to MyCFOLink, Brett continues to offer the same superior level of tax and accounting service with the added benefit of CFO and full-scale business consulting for start-ups and established businesses.
Brett received a Business Administration degree from the University of Washington, an MBA degree from Seattle University, and is a licensed WA state CPA. Brett is active in the American Institute of CPAs, the Rotary Club of Sammamish, the Issaquah and Snoqualmie Chambers of Commerce, and serves as treasurer for the Chris Elliott Fund for Glioblastoma Brain Cancer Research. In his spare time, Brett loves to sail and "hit the links" with friends and clients.
Christina Berggren, Accountant, MyCFOLink
Christina’s work at MyCFOLink includes preparing payroll, payroll tax reports, business income taxes, personal income taxes, accounting system reconciliation, taxation of entities and market research. Clients love working with Christina because she puts their needs first, consistently displaying strong customer service and a leadership work ethic that has earned her many fans over her three years with the company. She also possesses exceptional writing, presentation and training skills which make her an invaluable asset to clients and to the smooth functioning of Backues & Co. Christina received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Central Washington University. In addition to her work at Backues & Co., Christina serves as secretary/treasurer for the Plateau Partners Chapter of Business Network International. She was married in 2010 and right now, her “kids” are two Boston terriers. Christina loves to ski, hike, camp, kayak and train for ½ marathons. She is working on becoming dive certified in addition to studying for the CPA exam.
